Potlucks with a Purpose: Black Gold – Composting on Campus

The Green Council will host its first “Potluck with a Purpose,” where students will have the opportunity to discuss the possibilities of composting on Main Campus. Students for Environmental Action will be passing around a petition calling for the use of biodegradable containers in the Student Center.

The American Idea of Museums: A Conversation

Guest speakers will lecture on how the history of American museums differs from the European model of museums. The lecturers include, Steven Conn, a professor at Ohio State University, Susan Glassman, director of the Wagner Free Institute of Science in Philadelphia, and Blake Bradford, director of education at the Barnes Foundation.

Temple Made: Behind the Scenes
Edward H. Rosen Hillel Center for Jewish Life

Neiman, the advertising agency behind the Temple Made campaign, will offer an inside look on the mechanics of the campaign that kicked off this year. Light refreshments and hor d’oeuvres will be served.

OwlCappella’s Winter Concert

OwlCappella will have its annual winter concert, although entry is free there will be raffle tickets sold to raise money for OwlCappella’s upcoming EP. The winner of the raffle will win the opportunity to choose a song for OwlCappella to perform in its spring concert.
