A 25-year-old man was killed after he was shot multiple times west of Main Campus Monday night, Officer Christine O’Brien, a spokeswoman for the Philadelphia Police Department, said.
At 10:43 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of North Uber Street for a reported shooting. Mark Thomas, who lived on the block, was found in the courtyard of the Montgomery Townhouses suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, O’Brien said.
He was transported to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m, O’Brien said.
Police made no arrests and had no motive Tuesday afternoon.
