The final point tally represented a season-high for the Explorers. Against the Rams, Carlene Hightower scored 30 points on 11-of-14 shooting in only 21 minutes of playing time.

The Quakers lost to Brown 59–72 on Friday, but recouped to defeat Yale, 75–67, the next day. It was Penn’s first win against another Ivy League team this season.

The Hawks had their three-game winning streak snapped Tuesday after losing a close game to Charlotte. The 49ers beat St. Joe’s, 59–57. The Hawks responded strong by winning their next game against Richmond, 69–64, Saturday.

The Wildcats are on a three-game winning streak after claiming two victories last week. They pushed past Providence with a 72–59 win, then defeated Cincinnati, 72–59, and shot 57 percent from the field in the second half.
