Lew Klein Alumni in the Media Awards holds its 19th ceremony for the first time without media pioneer Lew Klein who died earlier this year.

This year’s Lew Klein Alumni in the Media Awards honors CNN host Jake Tapper alongside six Klein School of Media and Communication alumni on October 4.

Weintraub talked to students about her role at the FEC, and the unique position she’s currently in as chair of the FEC.
