African American art celebrated at Liacouras Center

The 20th annual Philadelphia International Art Expo was held this weekend at the Liacouras Center. More than 30,000 people attended the event, which is the nation’s largest African American art expo. More than 120 vendors

The 20th annual Philadelphia International Art Expo was held this weekend at the Liacouras Center. More than 30,000 people attended the event, which is the nation’s largest African American art expo. More than 120 vendors sold African-inspired paintings, sculptures and wall hangings. The expo also featured spoken word performances, dance, body painting and introductions with individual artists.
