Dear Editor:
So now coach John Chaney orders one of his players into a game as a “goon” to “rough up the other players.” The Temple player fouls out in four minutes, after an opposing player suffers a broken arm.
I wonder when criminal charges will be filed against Coach Chaney, or does the law end at the baseline of a basketball court?
Or do we once again simply excuse away this behavior as “John being John”?
Suspended for the few remaining games of the season? Any other coach would be fired…and deservedly so.
