In the October 4 – 11 center spread on AIDS/HIV and other STD’s the article, titled “Before you go there”, Depo-Provera should be administered every three months, not every four months.

In the article titled, “AIDS: How aware are you?” it was not mentioned that the HIV virus that causes AIDS can also be passed from mother to child through breast milk.

That story also said that “The AIDS virus is not present until the third stage.” Actually, the HIV is present from stage one, but it is not labeled as AIDS until the fourth stage.

It should also be noted that HIV infection is now greatest among women of color.

In the October 11-17 entertainment column, “Boo to the Business World” the photos showed Ken Casey, not Ken
