April 7 Student Center Food Court Student reported an unknown person removed an iPod from her coat pocket when it was left unattended between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. April 3. 1612 N. 15th St.

Student reported an unknown person removed an iPod from her coat pocket when it was left unattended between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. April 3.

Student reported receiving a harassing e-mail from her ex-boyfriend. Referred to UDC.

2100 Delhi St.
Campus Police arrested a non-Temple affiliated male on an outstanding warrant.

1825 N 10th St.
Student reported an unknown person spit on her car between 3:30 p.m. and 10:30 a.m. April 7.

2100 N. 10th St.
Window broken on a 2008 Jeep with the owner’s manual taken between 12:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. April 7.

Rock Pavilion
Employee reported an unknown person removed her purse containing a digital camera, lipstick and $20 from an on-call room between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. March 24. No force found.

April 8
Gladfelter Hall, Sixth Floor
Campus Police arrested a non-Temple affiliated male on an outstanding warrant.

Hardwick Hall, Seventh Floor
Student reported an unknown person entered his unsecured residence hall room and removed an Apple laptop computer between 12:55 p.m. and 1:05 p.m. April 8.

Paley Library, Third floor
Student reported an unknown person took his cell phone and MP3 player between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. April 8.

1911 N 12th St.
Student reported an unknown person took the front tire and rim from her mountain bike between 1:30 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. April 8.

Paley Library
A student observed another student take a cell phone when it was left unattended by another student inside the library. The suspect was chased outside where he threw the phone to the ground. He was arrested by Campus Police and charged with theft and receiving stolen property. Referred to UDC.

Paley Library, Third Floor
Student, witness to a previous theft in Paley, reported an unknown person removed his unattended cell phone between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. April 8.

3500 Broad St.
Construction manager reported an unknown person removed various tools from a secured tool box between 12 p.m. April 5 and 7 a.m. April 6. Lock on tool box forced.

April 9
Johnson Hall, Eighth Floor
Students reported an unknown person entered their apartment during a fire alarm and took an Xbox console, four Xbox games, guitar and an iPod between 8:46 p.m. and 9:40 p.m. April 9. No force found.

Campus Police arrested a non-Temple affiliated male on an outstanding warrant.

Johnson Hall, Tenth Floor
Students reported an unknown person entered their unlocked apartments during a fire alarm and took an iPod, clock and a HP laptop computer between 8:46 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. April 9.

Johnson Hall, Eighth Floor
Students reported an unknown person entered their unlocked rooms between 8:46 p.m. and 9:40 p.m. April 9 and removed a Nintendo game, Wii controllers, computer games and an iPod.

1622 N. 15th St.
Student reported an unknown person forced a lock and chain and removed his black, green and orange bicycle between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. April 9.

3500 N. Broad St.
Construction site employees reported an unknown person forcibly entered three contractors’ areas between 3 p.m. April 8 and 6 a.m. April 9 and removed various tools, welding jackets, microwave oven, digital camera and portable communication radios.

Temple Hospital, Emergency Department
Employee made a threatening statement in the presence of several employees at 10:30 a.m. April 6. Further investigation to be conducted.

Dental School, Fourth Floor
Employee of the school store reported an employee bought 10 Cavitrons, teeth-cleaning devices, with dental school funds and sold them to a Temple student who then sold them on eBay. The employee has been suspended pending termination. The student has been referred to the UDC. Affidavit of probable cause for arrest warrants is to be submitted.

April 10
1300 Residence Hall, Second Floor
Student reported an unknown person entered his room and removed a Verizon cell phone at 1:15 a.m. April 10. No force found.

Anderson Hall, First Floor
Student reported an unknown person removed a wallet containing a Pennsylvania driver’s license, PNC Bank card, $20 and Owl Card from a bag when it was left unattended between 10:10 a.m. and 11 a.m. April 10.

Ritter Hall
Employee reported receiving hate mail at 12 p.m. April 10. Further investigation to continue.

1300 Residence Hall, Third Floor
Student reported an unknown person took his mountain bike from his room between 5 p.m. April 4 and 4 p.m. April 6. No force found.

1413 Jefferson St.
Window broken on a 2006 Cobalt with a purse containing check book, bank card and social security card taken between 11 p.m. April 8 and 4:20 p.m. April 10.

Temple Hospital, Emergency Department
A non-Temple affiliated male was arrested for aggravated assault after he punched a security officer and bit him on the ear, causing a laceration that required five stitches.

Rock Pavilion
Employee reported receiving harassing phone calls from her boyfriend.

3401 N. Broad St.
Campus Police arrested a non-Temple affiliated male who made threats of bodily injury against the officers.

April 11
Temple Towers
A non-Temple affiliated male reported an unknown person threw a bottle from Temple Towers and broke the windshield of his 2003 Mercedes-Benz as he was driving west on Cecil B. Moore Avenue at 3:25 a.m. No injuries reported.

Annenberg Hall
Student reported an unknown person took her cell phone between 1 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. April 11.

3500 N. Broad St.
Campus Police arrested a non-Temple affiliated male for burglary after he was found exiting the construction site with various tools.

April 12
Hardwick Hall, Lobby
An underage student was transported to Temple Hospital for treatment and observation of excessive consumption of alcohol. Referred to UDC.

Window broken on a 2003 Audi with $20 taken between 12 a.m. April 11 and 9:30 a.m. April 12.

Peabody Hall, First Floor
Campus Police observed two underage students in the residence hall room with one 40-ounce bottle of beer. Referred to UDC.

April 13
Hardwick Hall, First Floor
An underage student was transported to Temple Hospital for treatment and observation of excessive consumption of alcohol. Referred to UDC.

Johnson Hall, Lobby
Campus Police observed an underage student under the influence of alcohol. Referred to UDC.

White Hall
An underage student was transported to Temple Hospital for treatment and observation of excessive consumption of alcohol. Referred to UDC.

Hardwick Hall
An underage student was transported to Episcopal Hospital for treatment and observation related to excessive consumption of alcohol. Referred to UDC.

Johnson & Hardwick Halls
An underage student had a strong odor of alcohol and was observed stumbling into the lobby of Johnson & Hardwick Hall. Referred to UDC.

TECH Center
Campus Police arrested a student after he took another student’s iPod. Suspect charged with theft and referred to UDC.

Resident assistant observed graffiti written on the wall in magic marker at 10 a.m. April 13.

  1. There is a rumor around campus which I have heard from a canidate for TSG about a shooting at 11th & Diamond on Spring Fling 4-15-08. Is there any truth to this? If so why weren’t we notified with this great texting system that the university just installed? We deserve answers and clearification!!!
