Employee reported an unknown person used a marker to write graffiti on walls in a bathroom between Aug. 17 and Aug. 20.

Employee reported receiving a harassing telephone call from a known female. Private Criminal Complaint advised.

Parkinson Pavilion, Room 748
Employee reported an unknown person removed a Dell PDA from his locked office between 5:30 p.m. Aug. 17 and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 19. No force found.

1601 N Broad St.
Campus Police arrested a male after he attempted to snatch an employee’s pocketbook at 8:15 a.m. Aug. 20. No injuries reported.

Student Center Food Court
Complainant reported an unknown person removed her purse containing $5, passport and ID when left unattended between 3 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. Aug. 19.

1461 Montgomery St.
Student reported an unknown juvenile male, in company with several other juvenile males, snatched his cell phone from his hand and fled west on Montgomery at 10:16 p.m. Aug. 20. No injuries reported.

Aug. 21
TUCMC Loading Dock
Vendor reported a small freezer left on the loading dock to thaw out was taken by an unknown person between 1:30 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. Aug. 21.

Aug. 22
Rock Pavilion, 4th Fl.
Employee reported observing several visitors kicking a vending machine and break a glass panel at approximately 4:20 p.m. Aug. 22.

Outpatient Bldg, 5th Fl
Staff reported terminating an employee that took $10 of a patient’s $50 co-payment on Aug. 9. Further investigation continuing.

Gladfelter 240, 812, 946
Employee reported finding graffiti on the pull down screens and doors to rooms 240, 812, and 946.

1650 N. Willington St.
Campus police arrested a non-Temple affiliated male on an outstanding warrant.

Aug. 23
Parkinson Pavilion, Room 742
Employee reported an unknown person removed a Dell PDA from a locked office between 7 p.m. Aug. 17 and 7 a.m. Aug. 19. No force found.

Edberg Olson field
Student reported an unknown person removed his mountain bike and a small pool that was locked to a bike rack between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. Aug. 22.

Student Center Bookstore
Campus Police arrested a non-Temple affiliated male for retail theft after he took in excess of $300 worth of merchandise and left without making payment at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 23.

Aug. 24
Patient Relations
Employee reported a female was observed removing a Blackberry phone from his desk and denied having the property.  Campus police recovered the property from the female and returned it to the employee.  The complainant declined to prosecute and the female was released.

Rock Pavilion 443
Patient reported $300 and a credit card stolen from her purse while out of her room for treatment between 1:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 24. Witnesses observed a PCA in possession of the complainant’s purse prior to the report being submitted. Further investigation to continue.

White Hall
Campus police observed two underage students under the influence of alcohol. Referred to UDC.

2022 N. Broad St.
Campus police closed a party at a non-recognized fraternity (Sigma Pi) and observed an underage male student under the influence of alcohol. Referred to UDC.

Campus police observed an underage male and underage female under the influence of alcohol. Referred to UDC.

Barton Hall, Room 100
Employee reported an unknown person attempted to remove a projector that is mounted to a classroom ceiling between 2:30 p.m. Aug. 17 and 1 p.m. Aug. 22. No force found.

Student reported an unknown person cut the lock and damaged the key area of his Scooter between 5 p.m. Aug. 21 and 4 p.m. Aug. 23.

1300 Residence Hall
Student reported receiving harassing text messages from her former boyfriend on Aug. 18. PFA advised.

1858 N. 16th St. (Basketball Court)
Philadelphia police arrested a non-Temple affiliated male for aggravated assault after he fired a handgun, causing a graze wound to the midsection of a non-Temple affiliated juvenile female.

2129 N. Broad St.
Window broken, 1988 Toyota, FM Transmitter and CD player taken between 7 p.m. Aug. 23 and 5 p.m. Aug. 25.

Peabody Hall 433
Student reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown male at 8:20 p.m. Aug. 25.

2108 N. Broad St.
Campus police transported an underage female to Temple hospital for excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages. She was observed with bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and having difficulty standing. Referred  to UDC.

Aug. 26
2101 N. Broad St.
A non-Temple affiliated underage male was transported to Temple hospital for treatment and examination of excessive consumption of alcohol. Released to his parents after treatment at Temple hospital.

1940 Liacouras Walk, 127W
Student reported an unknown person removed a wallet, containing credit cards, ID, guest cards and Pennsylvania driver’s license from on top of his desk between 1:30 p.m. Aug. 25 and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 26. No force found.

Student reported his student ID card was stolen and $60 was used on his Diamond Dollars account by an unknown person between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 26.

Campus police transported an underage male student to Temple hospital for treatment and observation of excessive consumption of alcohol. Referred to UDC.
