“I think she can be all-American,” Snyder said. “She’s really in a class of her own.”

Snyder also said he was impressed with freshman Alexis O’Shea, who finished 80th overall with a time of 23 minutes, 15 minutes. Sophomore Kate Pinson finished 43nd place with a time of 22:26.7.

“Alexis really showed up on an important day and even set a personal record,” Snyder said.

Saturday’s race was the last race before the American Athletic Conference Championship meet Oct. 31.

“We are heading into our peak during the conference champs, so we’ll be running out best when it matters the most,” Snyder said.
