Halloween is here. But don’t be saddened if you’re 21 and too old to put yourself in costume and trick or treat. Local bars will have Halloween drink specials and host costume contests. Not all childhood traditions can be taken away – now that’s a treat.
The Irish Pub, 2007 Walnut St., is calling
all angels and devils to check out their heaven and hell-themed bash Oct. 31. Enjoy $3.50 Bud Lights and sign up to win the raffle for Philadelphia Flyers tickets.
Don’t forget to wear those costumes on Halloween night, Oct. 31, and head over to Tiki Bob’s, 461 N. 3rd St. Dress up to win cash prizes for the best costume contest. Also enjoy $2 “you calls” from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Keep it local this Halloween and head to the Draught Horse, 1431 Cecil B. Moore Ave., Wednesday, Nov. 1, for its ever-so-popular 50-cent draft night.
The Horse is asking all attendees to dress up to compete for the best costume contest.
