The bottom-dwelling Dragons lost two conference games last week and are in the midst of a five-game losing skid. Drexel lost to Georgia, 64-58, on the road Wednesday and were blown out by visiting Northeastern, 63-40, Saturday. At 2-9, the Dragons are currently in last place in the CAA standings.

La Salle
Record: 8-12, 3-4 Atlantic Ten Conference, 1-1 Big 5
The Explorers dropped a game   to visiting St. Bonaventure, 84-61, Wednesday before losing to then-No. 15 Xavier, 75-62, at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Senior guard Darnell Harris went 7-for-7 from the three-point line and scored a team-high 23 points against St. Bonaventure, but was held to four points on 2-of-9 shooting against Xavier.

Penn
Record: 7-12, 2-0 Ivy League, 0-4 Big 5
The Quakers ended a three-game slide with conference wins over Harvard and Dartmouth in back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday. Penn out-rebounded both opponents, winning the battle of the boards, 36-28 against Harvard and 39-27 against Dartmouth.

Saint Joseph’s
Record: 14-5, 6-1 A-10, 1-0 Big 5 (Through Monday)
Tied at the top of the A-10 standings with Xavier, the Hawks defeated George Washington and Fordham last week. St. Joe’s senior forward Pat Calathes led the Hawks with 21 points against the Colonials and 14 points against the Rams, while shooting a combined 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from the three-point line. The Hawks faced Villanova at The Palestra last night in a Big 5 showdown.

Villanova
Record: 13-7, 3-6, 2-0 Big 5 (Through Monday)
After racing out to a 10-1 overall record, the once-ranked Wildcats are in freefall. Villanova dropped conference games to Pittsburgh and Syracuse last week, contributing to the team’s four-game losing streak. The Wildcats have lost all four games by more than 10 points.
