Dear Editor,

It seems that Torin Sweeney in her article last week as well as many other Temple students really fail to understand why pro-life groups show the pictures of children murdered by abortion.
I agree that the pictures are disgusting. It is not a pleasant thing to see an innocent baby that has been ripped apart in the name of choice. But instead of having anger and disgust against those that display the signs have anger and disgust with the abortionist that tears those babies up. Have disgust with those that call murder a choice.
Those pictures are there to break down the lies that saturated the youth of America. The lies that it’s not really a human being but just a blob of tissue, a “fetus”, so why not dispose of it. The quite ironic thing about this is that “fetus” is simply from Latin and it means offspring or children. God has formed these babies in their mother’s womb as the Bible tells us in Psalm 139:13 and Isaiah 44:24 and they deserve to live not die.
Think about his rationally Temple students. It was American G.I.’s that at the end of World War II that found it necessary to march German citizens through the Nazi death camps to show them that they had allowed the slaughter of 6 million Jews in their own country. This was in the hope that such a thing would never happen again. Pro-life groups bring these signs to places like Temple to show the communities of America what they are allowing in their own communities; the slaughter of over 40 million innocent children since 1973. May God help us all.
