Free T-Shirts and discounts on food. What more could anyone ask for?
Not much, if you are a regular at Richie’s Deli and Pizza, the open early, closed late eatery at the vending pad outside Anderson Hall.
Richie’s, which is heading into its 30th year at Temple University next semester, is holding a customer appreciation day on May 2.
Regular customers will be able to pick up a free shirt and get a discount on their order all day.
“I’d like to thank all the employees that keep Temple running. I wish all the students the best,” said Richie Jr., who works for his father at Richie’s.
“We can’t thank you enough.”
Richie’s will also be open during the summer and will stay open until midnight during finals week for students who need a late-night study break.
