Junior Tyler Wynne was named to the Atlantic Ten Men’s Tennis All-Conference Team. Wynne, Temple’s number one player, posted a 7-9 record at first singles and teamed with Yhonny Murray for a 14-4 mark at first doubles.
The voting on the 11-member squad was conducted among the Conference’s head coaches following the Atlantic 10 Men’s Tennis Championship.

The women’s tennis team finished the season with a 4-3 win over third-seed Massachusetts to capture third place at the A-10 Women’s Tennis Championships at the University of Maryland. It was the fifth top-three finish at the A-10 Championships in coach Tracy Tooke’s six-year tenure.
Temple won two of its three matches at the tournament to finish the season with a 4-15 record after making an appearance in the NCAA Tournament last season.
Temple earned its four points with a sweep of the top four singles slots. Danira Penic continued her dominance in conference play with a straight-set win over Christine Liehr, 6-1, 6-1, at number one singles. Penic won her two singles matches on the weekend and ended the spring season with a 13-4 record.
Sophomore Ana Maslesa won for the third straight time at second singles and ended her spring season with an 11-3 mark. Senior Lara Ercegovic, hampered much of the year with injuries, won at third singles to even her mark at that position to 4-4 for the spring. Junior Lauren Verrall posted the Owls other point at the fourth singles slot.
