If you have ever feared the squishy nature of raw fish, then take heed; you can get sushi without the squish.

Here on campus, just outside the Student Center, is the Cha Cha Japanese/Korean Cuisine lunch truck, known for it’s Asian Fusion Cuisine and home to some of the best sushi in the city, all for well under $5.

While you won’t find yellow fin tuna, you will find California rolls, vegetarian rolls and the most delicately flavored miso soup and it is all made fresh.

For those out of the loop, Cali rolls are based on crab and avocado while veggie rolls are, well, veggies.

Miso soup is a basic fish broth, a salty broth with no hint of fish, with silken semi-firm tofu and finely chopped seaweed.

Too risky for your pallet?

Then try any one of the well-planned lunch meals, all including a meat or tofu, rice/noodles and steamed veggies.

Each dish is bursting with a sweet and spicy flavor that can’t be matched.

And if you are a vegan, I highly suggest giving the truck a taste, as you will be thrilled with the amount and variety available for your careful diet.
