Clean-up day scheduled at satellite campus
From 9-11 a.m., students at Ambler will be taking to the streets to help keep their campus clean. Beginning at the Ambler Savings and Loan, they will pick up trash and clean the area between Lindenwold Avenue and Main Street. The event is part of a program held every Saturday of each month by Ambler Main Street, a non-profit organization. For more information, please call the Office of Student Life at (215) 283- 1424.

Temple Ambler to host a lecture on future trends
“Futurisms: Trends and Expectations” is a lecture to be given by Drexel University professor Dr. Art Shostak on Oct. 3. Futurism is a point of view that finds fulfillment in the future rather than the past or present. Dr. Shostak is one of the foremost authorities on futurism and will talk about future trends and expectations for the upcoming years. Ambler’s Coffeehouse program to feature Bari Koral
A free performance by Bari Koral is scheduled for Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Bright Hall. The artist has been critically acclaimed by Newsday, the Village Voice and other national music magazines. For more information, call the Office of Student Life at (215) 283-1424.

Students participate in volunteer housing program
On Friday, Oct. 5, 20 students from Temple Ambler will participate in Habitat for Humanity. Those students will travel from Ambler to the organization’s Montgomery County headquarters.
