Temple to host book launch
Temple University will be hosting a launch party today between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Sullivan Hall for the book “The Black Female Body: A Photographic History.”

The book, created by Deborah Willis and Carla Williams, is the first study devoted to the image of the black female body. Williams and Willis will be in attendance.

Willis, a Philadelphia native, is a professor of photography and imaging at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.

Williams, a Princeton University graduate, is an independent writer and photographer in Santa Fe, NM.

The book will be published Thursday, Feb. 28.

Temple retiree group hosts free forums
The Temple Association for Retired Persons is currently hosting a free forum every Friday of the semester at the Center City campus in room 222.

The forums begin at 10:30 a.m. The remaining forum schedule is as follows:
