Busted at Dave & Busters takes place this Friday, Feb. 28 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Transportation provided from the Student Center. $10 for Temple students and $15 for others.

Pardi Gras takes place on Saturday, March 1, at Pearson Hall from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Tickets for both events are available at Student Center room 320.


Temple Issues Forum

Temple Issues Forum’s Public Debate and Discussion Group is hosting a discussion of issues surrounding the impending invasion of Iraq.

There will be three debates: “Has the Case for Invasion been Convincingly Made?,” 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m., “Consequences of Invasion for the United States,” 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. and “Consequences of Invasion for Iraq and Middle East,” 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

The debates will be followed by a reflection on the day’s discussions.

This week’s teach-in

A weekly teach-in to discuss current political events is being held every Friday by Professor Ralph Young and students in his “Dissent in America” class.

This week, Professor Young will discuss the roots of modern terrorism.

Feb. 28, 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Gladfelter Hall, room 914.
