University Wide Wellness Fair

Student Affairs will sponsor the University Wide Wellness Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center April 15.
This year’s format will enable members of the Temple Community to walk from table to table, taking advantage of and experiencing the different aspects of the fair. Students will be able to talk with the venders and guests, gaining valuable information about the physical state of their bodies. Many interactive games and raffles are available for all who partake in the event.

5k Run and One Mile Walk

The Department of Campus Safety Services’s 7th annual 5k Run and One Mile walk has been rescheduled for April 16 at 13th and Berks streets. The One Mile Walk begins at noon and the 5k Run will take off at 12:30 p.m.
All members of the Temple community are invited to participate. Questions should be directed toward Lt. Eileen Bradley at (215) 204-2182.

Friday Teach-In

Every Friday from 3:40 p.m. to 5 p.m. Professor Ralph Young and the students in his Dissent in America Class hold a teach-in in Gladfelter 914 to discuss the historical background to current political issues.
The April 16 teach-in will feature Professor Terry Halbert on “Flag and Country: Stars, Stripes, and Freedom of Speech.” Halbert teaches in the Fox School of Business and, as a lawyer, is an expert on constitutional law. All teach-ins are open to the public.
