Temple University student robbed at knifepoint on Gratz Street

Police questioned two men in connection with the robbery.

A male student is uninjured after being robbed by two men on Gratz Street near Montgomery Avenue early this morning, wrote Charlie Leone, director of campus safety services, in an email to The Temple News.

The two men threatened the student with a knife and took his wallet and cell phone around midnight. Police have since recovered the student’s cell phone, though no charges have been issued, Leone wrote.
