The annual Christmas party benefits neighborhood children by giving each child a gift.

Bradley also introduced Corporal Monica Hankins, a Temple graduate who currently works with Campus Safety Services. In addition, Bradley announced plans for another community service opportunity and the need for volunteers to assist at the Tree of Love Lighting at the Blue Cross River Rink.

The guest administrator at this week’s meeting was Dr. Theresa Powell, Vice President of Student Affairs. Powell explained her responsibilities in assisting students with activities and programs that affect students outside of the classroom such as career services, health services, student publications, housing, judicial systems and others.

Furthermore, the committee on academic affairs will sponsor a study break Dec. 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. in room 302 of the Student Center. At the study break, students can enjoy free food and drinks and a masseuse to alleviate stress before finals.
