New book whips Whitney
The New York Post’s Page Six reported an unauthorized biography of Whitney Houston will hit shelves and share insights on the diva’s true nature.
Author James Robert Parish used volumes worth of tabloid rumors as fodder to fill pages, discussing certain relationships and situations with anonymous sources close to the singer.
“Like Judy, Whitney possesses a huge reservoir of strength,” Parish compared Houston to stage legend Judy Garland. Parish plans to touch on the misdirection of Houston’s image by former Arista boss Clive Davis and her frighteningly liberating marriage to Bobby Brown.
The manuscript will bow to booksellers unauthorized by Houston or any subsequent management.

After a Golden Globe winning turn in Chicago and a reported $15 million payday for next year’s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, you’d think Renee Zellweger has it made.
WeightWatchers just put a fat-free cherry atop her cake. The International Movie Database said Zellweger has been offered $3.2 million to endorse the diet heavyweights while losing the 30 pounds she put on for Bridget.
That’s $110,000 per pound! I’m coming out of my box and shoving my face until someone pays me to lose weight. Damn you, Renee.

Meanwhile, Affleck, fresh off the Ang Lee thriller Paycheck with Kill Bill momma Uma Thurman, has signed on for yet another Jerry Bruckheimer flick entitled Glory Road. The flick will no doubt be about adversity, sex, character and car explosions.
Behind-the-scenes projects for the two include a View-type talk show on which J. Lo will occasionally appear and produce. She will give host reigns to lil’ sis and Style Network correspondent Lynda Lopez.
Ben has yet to confirm a third season of his reality-type movie-making HBO series Project Greenlight, conceived and buzzed with buddy Matt Damon.
