There was nothing new going on in The Real World at the start of episode seven. Sarah and MJ flirted as usual, even though she claimed she was unsure of what she wanted with MJ.
In a more serious scene, Sarah told Melanie a previous boyfriend raped her. Melanie saw this as a reason for Sarah’s need of attention.
Landon revealed that he has a crush on Shavonda, who at the same time told her boyfriend Shaun she didn’t want to screw up their relationship by cheating. They talked about trust, but by the time Shaun hung up, their relationship was over.
While Shavonda and Landon danced together in the club, Shavonda showed her wild side on the bar by participating in a contest involving a banana and whipped cream.
On the way home, Landon revealed his crush on Shavonda, in which she responded she might feel the same.
Back at the house, MJ talked on the phone with Ashley, his former girl from back home, who he said he missed significantly. MJ also revealed there’s a girl in the house, meaning Sarah, who “throws herself at him.” He said he loved Ashley, but then later blamed his confession on his drunkenness.
Sarah declared that her reason for sleeping in MJ’s bed was due to her attraction to him and because he had the coolest room in the house.
MJ told Melanie that he doesn’t like Sarah sleeping in his bed. MJ got angry at Melanie after he found out she relayed this information to Sarah. Sarah responded that she needs to do her own thing and realized she needs to stop sleeping in his bed.
Sarah said she wasn’t offended by MJ’s comments; it was just a wake up call, one that led to an ending in which Sarah and MJ were in separate beds.
Next week, Willie loses patience with Melanie’s constant complaining, and Karamo tries to find a man to solve his sexual frustration.
