George W. Bush has now been crowned the King of the United States … strike that, sworn in as president of the United States of America. All the official vote counting and recounting, and recounting again (in Palm Beach) is done. Although the Republicans are ecstatic that their man is now in office, many are not.
The following are some funny web sites that make fun of Dubya and a serious one too.
GeorgeTheSecond.homestead.com has officially crowned George W. Bush the king of the United States. There are even superimposed pictures to prove it. The web site had an ongoing contest to figure out what the initials “G.W.B” really meant … and the winners were… go find out yourself silly!
At first glance, the site is funny, but once clicking around a bit, it gets a bit old. There are numerous pieces about how Bush is a sore loser, how he’s the next king, and how democracy is dying because of him. Overall, this site is okay, but nothing extraordinary.
GWBush.com is the home of many Bush-bashing bumper stickers. Some popular slogan’s include “One Person, One Vote* (may not apply in all states)”, “G.W. Bush: How dumb is too dumb,” and “Don’t blame me, my vote didn’t count.” All the stickers have a very patriotic look to them and run for about $3 a piece.
The site also provides links to other Bush-bashing sites as well as the sale of many Bush-bashing books and such. Although the site sounds intriguing, there is not much to do on it other than order bumper stickers, but there are links to other Bush-bashing sites, like….
BushDance.com: Remember the hamster dance? BushDance.com is the same thing, minus the music, and has Dubya dancing and his head bobbing. It’s good for a quick chuckle.
GeorgeBush.com is a genuine George W. Bush web site. This site has a very professional look to it. It even has real pictures of Bush and Cheney(not superimposed like other sites). News, the issues, speeches, and press releases all pertaining to the new administration are all available on the site. The site also provides a platform for you to get involved.
Professionally, this site is well-made. It’s easy to find your way around and find out the information you want but it supports Bush.
These are only a couple of Dubya sites. If you click around you can find millions more that all claim to hate Bush the most.
