The Editorial Board, which writes unsigned editorial content and is considered the voice of The Temple News, includes the Editor-in-Chief, the Managing Editors, Chief Copy Editor, Deputy Copy Editor, News Editor, Opinion Editor and Assistant Opinion Editor.

All staff members are students of Temple University, either undergraduate, graduate or in any of the school’s many, varied professional programs. Our readership includes university students and staff, parents, alumni and surrounding community members. Samuel O’Neal, a senior journalism major and political science minor, is excited to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of The Temple News. This is Samuel’s third year on staff, and fourth year involved with TTN after serving as Chief Copy Editor last year. Samuel has interned at multiple outlets throughout college, including The Philadelphia Inquirer, NBC10 Philadelphia, the Idaho Statesman, Spotlight PA, PennLive, LancasterOnline and the Pennsylvania Capital-Star. Managing Editor

Claire Zeffer, a senior journalism major and public health minor, is thrilled to be returning to The Temple News as a Managing Editor after serving as Opinion Editor last year. As an avid beach lover, Claire spent much of the last few years working on the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk prior to transferring to Temple. Claire is passionate about pop culture and addiction medicine, and outside of writing and editing, she can often be found participating in extensive beauty regimes, going to concerts and spending time with her friends. Sidney Rochnik is a junior journalism student proud to work as a Managing Editor for her second year on staff. She previously held the assistant and head News Editor positions at TTN. This year she will also be News Director at WHIP radio, Temple’s student radio, and hopes to continue reporting at both media outlets. Valeria Uribe, a junior journalism major and political science minor, is thrilled to take on the role of Co-Chief Copy Editor for her second year on The Temple News staff. Evelyn Blower, a senior philosophy major with political economy certificate, joins The Temple News as News Editor this year. She was previously a News Staff Writer, covering TSG, budgeting, campus updates and current events. She also holds an executive board position for the Temple Philosophy Club and works at a music venue in Philadelphia. Lolade Kola-Adewuyi
Advertising Manager

Lolade Kola-Adewuyi, a senior advertising major with a dual concentration in art direction and copywriting, is elated to serve as one of the Advertising Managers of The Temple News. This is her second year with The Temple News. Lolade spent the summer working as the manager of sales of Super Pharmacy in DC, as a Resident Assistant for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, while also mentoring incoming freshmen in Temple’s honors program. She is also a Conversation partner/American Sign Language and English tutor at the Student Success Center at Temple and is pursuing certificates in ASL and Linguistics. When she is not designing advertisements, Lolade spends her time indulging in a good book, discovering new songs, taking pictures and doing activities out of her comfort zone with her friends. Matthew Eaton

Matthew Eaton is a senior studying advertising, concentrating on account management and copywriting. He is so thrilled to return to The Temple News team this year as one of two Advertising Managers.
