Samuel O’Neal

Editor in Chief

Samuel O’Neal, a senior journalism major and political science minor, is excited to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of The Temple News. This is Samuel’s third year on staff, and fourth year involved with TTN after serving as Chief Copy Editor last year. Samuel has interned at multiple outlets throughout college, including The Philadelphia Inquirer, NBC10 Philadelphia, the Idaho Statesman, Spotlight PA, PennLive, LancasterOnline and the Pennsylvania Capital-Star. Claire Zeffer, a senior journalism major and public health minor, is thrilled to be returning to The Temple News as a Managing Editor after serving as Opinion Editor last year. As an avid beach lover, Claire spent much of the last few years working on the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk prior to transferring to Temple. Claire is passionate about pop culture and addiction medicine, and outside of writing and editing, she can often be found participating in extensive beauty regimes, going to concerts and spending time with her friends. Sidney Rochnik

Managing Editor

Sidney Rochnik is a junior journalism student proud to work as a Managing Editor for her second year on staff. She previously held the assistant and head News Editor positions at TTN. This year she will also be News Director at WHIP radio, Temple’s student radio, and hopes to continue reporting at both media outlets. Valeria Uribe, a junior journalism major and political science minor, is thrilled to take on the role of Co-Chief Copy Editor for her second year on The Temple News staff. Previously, she served as Assistant Opinion Editor. Valeria spent the summer interning with 2Puntos Platform and will continue to work for them during the school year and hopes to keep reporting on the latine community. Anna Augustine, a junior journalism major and Spanish minor, is excited to serve as Co-Chief Copy Editor this year. This is Anna’s third year on staff at The Temple News after spending her freshman and sophomore years as Assistant Features Editor. Outside of TTN, she works as WHIP Radio’s Assistant Music Director and has had her work published in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Evelyn Blower
News Editor

Evelyn Blower, a senior philosophy major with political economy certificate, joins The Temple News as News Editor this year. She was previously a News Staff Writer, covering TSG, budgeting, campus updates and current events. She also holds an executive board position for the Temple Philosophy Club and works at a music venue in Philadelphia. Nurbanu Sahin, a junior history and philosophy major, is an Assistant News Editor for The Temple News. This is Nurbanu’s first year on staff, she spent the last semester interning for Councilmember Isaiah Thomas’ office in City Hall. She is also on the board of Phi Alpha Delta, as well as a member of their mock trial team. Ryan Mack, a junior journalism major and sports media minor, is thrilled to be the Sports Editor for The Temple News. Colin Schofield is a junior journalism major and pursuing the Sports Media Certificate. Lyndsey Griswold, a senior media studies and production major with a double minor in philosophy and screen studies, is excited to return to staff as the Print Design Editor. Back in 2023, Lyndsey had the opportunity to intern abroad in London with Catsnake: The Story Agency as their production intern. This past summer, she’s worked as the social media intern with The Philadelphia Citizen. When she isn’t editing flats, Lyndsey enjoys crocheting, doodling, and listening to folk music with friends. Daivik Bewtra, a senior economics major, mistakenly stumbled into the business manager role at The Temple News. He is spending this year interning at the Bureau of Labor Statistics and grant writing at the Share Food Program. When he is not working, you can catch Daivik meandering the streets of Philadelphia. Lolade Kola-Adewuyi
Advertising Manager

Lolade Kola-Adewuyi, a senior advertising major with a dual concentration in art direction and copywriting, is elated to serve as one of the Advertising Managers of The Temple News. This is her second year with The Temple News. Lolade spent the summer working as the manager of sales of Super Pharmacy in DC, as a Resident Assistant for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, while also mentoring incoming freshmen in Temple’s honors program. She is also a Conversation partner/American Sign Language and English tutor at the Student Success Center at Temple and is pursuing certificates in ASL and Linguistics. When she is not designing advertisements, Lolade spends her time indulging in a good book, discovering new songs, taking pictures and doing activities out of her comfort zone with her friends. Matthew Eaton is a senior studying advertising, concentrating on account management and copywriting. He is so thrilled to return to The Temple News team this year as one of two Advertising Managers. He has experience at advertising firms such as The Martin Agency, McKinney, 160/90, and Red Tettemer.
