Temple knocked off Memphis, 80-75, in a close contest Friday to secure its first victory in a conference tournament since 2011.

The Owls enter the conference tourney with the No. 4 seed.

Junior attacker Kathryn Skahan netted her first career hat trick in the Owls’ 10-8 victory against Iona Friday.

Junior midfielder Nicole Tiernan fueled a late run with three second-half goals en route to Temple’s 10-9 defeat of Wagner Wednesday.

Temple clinched the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament with a 56-43 defeat of Houston Monday in its regular-season finale.

Blanca Fernandez led Temple with top finishes in the mile and 3,000-meter runs, but the team finished last among the 11-team field.

The team honored its lone senior, Tyonna Williams, prior to its 10-point victory.
