Men’s Rugby
The team opened the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union playoffs with a 38-5 win over Villanova on Saturday. Senior Mark Transue scored a try for the Owls, and juniors Matt Violette and Jim O’Brien also each contributed tries for the Owls in the postseason win. The Owls take on St. Joseph’s in the semifinals this Saturday.
Women’s Soccer
The Owls defeated West Chester, 4-3, on the road last Saturday. They were led by senior midfielder Emily Arndt’s two-goal performance. Junior defender Rachel Peachey and junior forward Jessie Fox also contributed goals in the win.
