* Student harassed by obscene caller
A student reported that she received several harassing phone calls at White Hall from an unknown male who called her obscene names on Oct. 4 around 2:10 a.m.
* Radio robbed
The window was broken a 1981 BMW between 4:20 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. at 1425 Norris Street on Oct. 4. The AM/FM cassette radio was taken.
* Bag ransacked
An employee reported that an unknown person removed $30 and a cell phone from her handbag while it was left unattended in room 306 of the University Services Building on Oct. 3 between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
* Suspected thief arrested
Campus police arrested Aaron Mcafee, who was charged with theft from auto, on Oct. 4 at 10:49 p.m. at 2209 N. Park Ave.
* Suspected trespasser arrested
Campus police arrested Robin Jiles, who was charged with defiant trespassing, on Oct. 4 at 7:18 p.m. at the University Services Building.
* Pocketbook plundered
An employee reported that an unknown person removed $25 and a cell phone from her pocketbook while it was left unattended at Maternafetal Department on Oct. 4 between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.
* Sticker sliced
A student reported that the registration sticker was cut from the license plate of his 1985 Buick Century while it was parked at 1000 W. Norris St. between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Oct. 4.
* Sticker sliced, plus damage done
The registration sticker was cut from the license plate of a student’s 1988 Ford while it was parked at 1921 N. 11th St. between 5 p.m. Oct. 4 and 4p.m. Oct. 5. The window also was broken.
* Another suspected trespasser arrested
Campus police arrested Edward Steward, who was charged with defiant trespassing, on Oct. 5 at 2128 N. Broad St.
* Officer shot in chest
An off-duty corrections officer was transported to Temple Hospital after suffering several gunshot wounds to the chest as he sat in his vehicle at 2037 N. 11th Street on Oct. 6 at 11:26 p.m. Philadelphia police arrested one male for the shooting.
* License plate lifted
A student reported that an unknown person removed the license plate from a 1994 black Honda at 2129 Broad Street between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 6 and 8:45 a.m. Oct. 7.
* Hooked-up car looted
Someone entered a 1989 Ford without forcing entry and stole 200 CD’s, speakers, three video tapes, a radar detector, an amplifier and a backpack at 2040 N. 15th St. between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and 12 p.m. Oct. 8.
* Another sticker sliced
A student reported that an unknown person removed the registration sticker from the license plate of a 1992 Pontiac at 1150 Cecil B. Moore Ave. between 7 p.m. Oct. 7 and 11 p.m. Oct. 8.
* Thief gets two textbooks
A student reported an unknown person removed an unattended blue book bag containing two textbooks from a desk on the second floor of Paley Library between 10:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 6.
* CD stash stolen
A visitor reported an unknown person broke the rear window to a ’99 Honda and removed 100 CDs between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and 11 a.m. Oct. 6 at 2052 N. Carlisle St.
* Sleeping student’s stuff stolen
A student reported that an unknown person removed a book bag containing a cell phone and license on the first floor of Paley Library when he fell asleep between 12:45 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 6.
* Volleyball player spiked with raw egg
A student reported being struck by a raw egg thrown by juveniles during a volleyball game at McGonigle Hall at 7:40 p.m. on Oct. 6. No injuries were reported.
* Partier punched
A student reported being struck on the face by an unknown male at a party at 2000 N. Broad St. on Oct. 6 at 12:30 a.m. The complainant declined medical attention for a cut to the left cheek and is to be referred to the University Disciplinary Committee for underage drinking.
* Racial remarks received
A student reported receiving a message on his telephone answering machine from an unknown person who left comments that were racial in nature on Oct. 6 at 1:20 a.m. at 2108 N. Broad St.
* Student assailed by armed mugger
A student reported being approached from behind by an unknown male who demanded money after placing a solid object against her back at 12:20 p.m. on Oct. 9 at 1240 Montgomery Ave. The male fled east on Montgomery after taking $72, a beeper and a cell phone. No injuries were reported.
* Sleeping student’s stuff stolen II
A student reported that an unknown person removed books from a book bag on the first floor of Paley Library when he fell asleep between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 10.
* Sleeping student’s stuff stolen III
A student reported that an unknown person removed a wallet and cell phone from a book bag on the first floor of Paley Library when he fell asleep between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on October 10.
* Suspected drunk arrested
Police arrested Rudolf Kubin, who was charged with underage intoxication when we was found causing a disturbance on the third floor of White Hall, at 7:20 p.m. on Oct. 10.
