“The Real World: St. Thomas” cast member and alumnus Brandon Swift, 23, was arrested early this morning outside of the Draught Horse on Cecil B. Moore Avenue, Deputy Director of Campus Safety Services Charlie Leone said in an e-mail.
Leone said a large crowd of patrons leaving the bar appeared outside around 2 a.m Thursday morning. After some pushing and fighting began, officers dispersed the crowd – Swift, however, refused to leave, Leone said. Leone also added that Swift kept returning to the area, yelling at Temple Police officers.
Swift was arrested for disorderly conduct, Leone said. He was taken to Temple Police headquarters, given a citation and released.
Swift was vocal about the incident on his Facebook page, posting the following status:
“Always voice your opinion even if its [sic] the Police!” the post read. “[#F—] Select Members of Temple Police…Im [sic] not scacred [sic] of yall [sic] and I will always say what I gotta [sic] say to you dirty filthy liars AND I hope this gets back to yall [sic]! #MiddleFingersUp! …Sorry for the rant all but it was necessary.”
