Softball
Freshman Adrienne Respher was named Atlantic Ten Softball Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 14. Respher, who plays first base, hit three home runs, 10 runs batted in and four stolen bases.
The Owls have won four straight and are 12-11. They play their inaugural home game at the new Ambler Softball Complex this weekend against Hartford.
Women’s Gymnastics
Temple put on an impressive showing against Cornell this past weekend at McGonigle Hall, just a week before the A-10 Invitational. It was a record-setting day for the Owls, who were led by senior Paige Ozaroski and sophomore Diedre Mattucks.
On the bars, Ozaroski and Mattucks helped set a new team record of 49.350. The outstanding performances by the pair tied a new school record of 9.90.
The Owls travel to Washington D.C. this weekend to square off against Rhode Island and George Washington in the A-10 Invitational, which is the final regular season meet.
