After a loss to La Salle last Friday put Temple in a win-and-get-in situation, the Owls claimed the final and fourth seed in the A-10 Tournament Sunday.
Last year’s lacrosse team finished a program-worst 4-12 and lost 10 consecutive games at one point, but Temple won four of its last six games and returned all but three players.
Coach Bonnie Rosen led the Owls to the conference championship last season. But now, they look to retain the crown with nine rookies on the team roster.
