Wildcats sophomore forward Jermaine Samuels and senior guard Joe Cremo combined for 26 points in Villanova’s 69-59 win against Temple on Wednesday at the Finneran Pavilion in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
Junior guard Jalen Brunson scored 31 points, and redshirt-freshman forward Omari Spellman scored 27 points in Villanova’s 87-67 win against Temple on Wednesday at the Liacouras Center.
The Wildcats, who are ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, are preparing for Temple’s shooting for their Wednesday night matchup at the Liacouras Center.
On the exact same day as last year’s upset of No. 8 Tennessee, the men’s basketball team defeated No. 3 Villanova, 75-65. Sophomore guard Juan Fernandez scored a career-high 33 points in the victory.
