Well if you’re over 21, look no further because I have the perfect place for you. Tiki Bob’s Cantina is located at 461 N. 3rd Street in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. The area is packed with bars that attract the college crowd, but don’t even pay attention to those other places. Just walk on into Tiki Bob’s.
This hot spot may cost you a $5 cover, but once you get in it’s worth it. Pricing for drinks are comparable to the other bars in the city, so don’t expect any surprises.
A downfall of Tiki Bob’s is that beer is only offered by the bottle. Although the cheaper beer on tap isn’t offered to you, the bar makes it up for itin other ways.
The place is spacious enough to have a large social celebration, and has a comfy, friendly atmosphere.
Unlike other city bars, this bar is on one floor, so your friends won’t disappear on you for the night.
There are two bars, one at each end of the room with a dance floor in between. Dancing can be tight, but compared to Finnigan’s Wake, one of the bars just down the road, you’ll be able to comfortably move and enjoy yourself while getting your groove on.
If you’re looking for a party, you’ve got one. Catering to newly eligible drinkers, Tiki Bob’s accommodates its customers in hopes to lure them back Female bartenders on top of the bar pour shots from the bottle into any guy’s open mouth. Don’t worry ladies, the male bartenders offer free shots around the dance floor for you. You just can’t help but want to go back.
The best thing about Tiki Bob’s is that if you’re not a big drinker, you still can have a great time. The atmosphere doesn’t get out of control and the exceptional music choices are enough reason to have a nice night out.
If you’re looking for a more simple night out, try Thursdays. The crowd is considerably smaller and if you’re female you get in for free.
On Friday’s, Tiki Bob’s happy hour is 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., offering all sorts of drink specials.
With great music, drinks and dancing, fun is inevitable at this club. So if you’re looking for a party, look no further than Tiki Bob’s.
