No matter how many people are in the place, it always seems to be 20 minutes before the waiters at the Draught Horse even stop by for a drink order.
Which will be missing at least one of your drinks.
Which means another 10 minutes before you place your order.
Which will be wrong.
See a pattern?
All of this happened at a recent trip to the Horse.
On top of all this, I fetched my own fork from a caddy under the bar when my salad arrived sans silverware and our waitress disappeared for almost 15 minutes.
In the meantime, my friend’s order was wrong and did not get replaced for at least half an hour.
I don’t know where to place the blame.
The Horse has always been like this, and even the frequent management changes do not seem to make a difference.
It’s no wonder the place is almost empty.
The Draught Horse’s only saving grace is that it accepts Diamond Dollars in exchange for beer.
What better way to spend the money your parents gave you for laundry than on getting plastered before noon on a weekday?
