* Fall Fest

Temple hosts its seventh annual Fall Fest – an event for the entire community. Live music resounds from the Bell Tower stage, and the street fair buzzes with novelties and carnival games.
* Open Casting Call

Real World, Road Rules, The Amazing Race … Do you aspire to become a star of Reality TV? Visit this open casting call and get tips from the best producer in the reality TV business, David Wallach of Bunim-Murray Productions. Wallach has directed more broadcast episodes of reality programming than any other director/producer in the world. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their uniqueness and tape their very own audition video, which will be delivered to 40 of the hottest Reality TV show producers.

* Polo Jeans Denim Drive

Join Polo Jeans Co. and Rolling Stone magazine on their quest to warm up peoples’ houses this winter. Donate your old jeans and receive an immediate discount offer ($10 coupon) for the purchase of a new pair of jeans from the mobile Polo Jeans store or Macy’s department stores. The purpose of the tour is to collect denim apparel that will be donated to Habitat for Humanity for its conversion to insulation for the houses the organization builds.

* Res Hall Relays
7 – 9 p.m., Student Pavilion
The Res Hall Relays are a series of competitions involving all the residence halls, culminating with a final event during the Pep Rally at the Bell Tower Thursday, Oct. 13. Teams from each residence hall will compete in events such as the Izzy Dizzy relay, tricycle racing and more. Take pride in Temple University and where you live! Forever have your hall engraved on the Res Hall Relays trophy, get a free T-shirt and be part of the tradition. Talk with your Resident Director for more information.

Come out to support Temple’s fall athletic programs and meet the Homecoming King and Queen finalists. The finals of the Residence Hall relays will also be held at this time. Stop by to show your Temple spirit.
* Quickball Tournament at the Student Pavilion

Test your skills at a game similar to baseball but played
indoors. Join the fun!
* John Singleton Lecture
7 p.m., Room 200, Student Center Annex, Free
Producer, director, and screenwriter, John Singleton will be joining Temple University for a speaking engagement as well as a Q& A session. Singleton exploded onto the screen with his first film, Boyz n’ the Hood, a tough, intelligent, plain-speaking look at friends in gang-ridden South Central, Los Angeles that earned him Oscar nominations for best original screenplay and best director, becoming the youngest and first black filmmaker to do so. He has most recently directed the summer hit, Four Brothers and produced the movie, Hustle and Flow.

Enter parking lot K, which is the main entrance from Pattison Avenue. Walk toward the stadium and look for the reservation table in front to get your tickets. Walk through the main gates to the tent at the Touch Down Club on your right.
$20 per person for Pre-Game Tailgate Party only.
(Includes a “Taste of Philly” buffet, wine, beer and soft drinks).
