The women’s tennis team defeated Norfolk State 5-0 Sunday.

The ice hockey club was aided by a team effort to dispatch the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, 4-1.

The Owls knocked off No. 6 Penn and No. 9 Northwestern among other opposition in the all-day event Saturday.

The ice hockey club got a boost from several of their players, but ended the game in a 5-1 win against Georgetown.

While the Owls won two gold medals Saturday, coach Elvis Forde said he gives his team a C+ through its first three indoor competitions.

After winning its spring opener, the men’s tennis team fell to St. Joseph’s and Drexel Saturday.

The women’s gymnastics team opened its home season with its first win of the season.

The men’s tennis team defeated City 6 rival Villanova, 5-2, in its spring-season opener Thursday.

Temple netted its highest point total since Jan. 4 in a 73-48 defeat of South Florida Thursday night.
