I would like to extend my gratitude for the article you published on being a vegetarian [“Allow vegetarians to eat Boca Burgers in peace,” Nov. 8].
I also encounter hostility, weird looks, unsupportive friends and family, etc. It was nice to read about someone with similar frustrations over their lifestyle.
We need more people like you (that have a public outlet to voice their opinions) who support being a vegetarian and make an effort to foster acceptance/understanding.
