Orlando Fiol, a professional pianist, percussionist, vocalist, arranger and composer will perform at The Underground on Feb. 18.
Gamma Phi Sigma Fraternity will co-sponsor the event. Fiol, a New York native, moved to the Philadelphia area in 2000, according to Eric Cortes, a member of Gamma Phi Sigma.
His style is flavored with Latin, classical, Indian and jazz music, and he is very accomplished. He performed with Stevie Wonder while still a student LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts in New York.
Klan Destino will also be appearing. According to Cortes, the band plays a reggaeton.
Reggaeton blends Jamaican and Puerto Rican music influences of reggae and dancehall.
