Villanova 72, Marquette 67
A late 12-0 rally with 3:30 remaining in the game gave Villanova, 72-67, a win over Marquette. The team improved their record to 17-2 overall.
No. 4 Villanova shot 32 percent and committed 14 turnovers in the game, giving Marquette a chance to win.
The Golden Eagles had an 18-3 run in the first half, and also had a chance to upset a top 10 Big East team for the second time this season. They previously knocked off then-No. 2 Connecticut.
Free throws helped the Wildcats bounce back late in the second half. Randy Foye scored 24 points and teammate Allan Ray had 28 points including a crucial three-pointer with 1:54 remaining.

Yale 53, Penn 52
Penn led by 10 at halftime. Center Jennifer Fleischer kept momentum going in the second half by scoring six of Penn’s 10-straight points in only five minutes.
The Bulldogs’ Jamie Van Horne hit a three-pointer with four minutes left to pull them within five points of the Quakers.
With 16 seconds remaining, Van Horne hit another three-pointer to make the score 52-51.
Penn (3-15) was unable to get a shot off on the next play. With seven seconds left, Davis hit a jumper to give Yale the win.
