The Board of Trustees approved a 2.5 percent increase in the base tuition rate for all students for the 2021-22 academic year, marking the first tuition hike for in-state students since the 2018-19 academic year

The university established working groups to make improvements to Temple’s processes surrounding employee background checks and sexual harassment training.

Wingard has previously held administrative positions at Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford University.
