An article in the Sept. 27 issue of The Temple News incorrectly reported how many consecutive years Temple’s ice hockey team defeated Saint Joseph’s for the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference championship. The Owls have defeated St. Joe’s in the last two DVCHC championship finals. The Owls’ first championship came against Lafayette in 2003.

An article in the Sept. 27 issue of The Temple News incorrectly reported when intoxicated students would be granted medical amnesty by Campus Safety Services. Medical amnesty for students, along with other proposals by The Alcohol Task Force, has been submitted to the Executive Office of the President and is under review. None of the recommendations have been officially approved.

An editorial in the Sept. 27 issue of The Temple News incorrectly named an office in the Division of Student Affairs that is trying to hold alternative social events to promote healthy lifestyles and curb student drinking. It is the Temple Health Empowerment Office.
