Our president’s policy on things that make him look bad is to ignore
them. Thus, our attention has been diverted from the occupation of
Iraq, and the largest national debt in American history to a less
important but very controversial proposal. What Bush is up to right
now is attempting to amend the Constitution, for the first time ever, to
TAKE AWAY civil rights.

Yes, I’m talking about gay marriage. Nearly everyone has an opinion
on whether or not homosexuals “should be allowed” to marry each
other. To me the answer is obvious: It’s a matter of choice. If you are
a man morally opposed to gay marriage, then DON’T MARRY A
MAN. It is not our place as fellow human beings to deny rights to
anyone, it is merely our place to form an opinion.

Don’t let selective news coverage distract you from the things which
really matter in this country. Two adults who love each other getting
married should be far from the top of your list of political priorities
today.
