Temple’s graphic design major Sade Adeyina made news this week for studying abroad in Italy. Adeyina was featured as one of few African American students to study abroad, as about 81 percent of students who go abroad are white.

Mark Salzer and his colleagues studied the effectiveness of online peer counseling for individuals with mental illness. The Temple researchers said people with a mental illness assigned to online peer support groups that share similar experiences were helpful.

Tuskegee Airmen archives, photographs and letters that help tell the story of the first African-American fighter pilots who fought during World War II, were donated to Temple last week.

The Pennsylvania Association of State-Related Schools’ rally in Harrisburg last week is still making headlines.  Penn State’s newspaper reported that Temple had 90 representatives, while only 13 students from Penn State were present.
