The end of summer will soon be upon us, but there’s still time to enjoy a relaxing sunny afternoon on the Delaware River. Bring your friends and family to Jessie’s Day, a day of fun, food and music, at Cavanaugh’s River Deck from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 6.

Your donation of $35 means you’re entitled to an open bar, a feast of Italian and Thai favorites, and the live music of Michael LeCompt.

It also means that you’re supporting a great cause. Jessie’s Day is co-sponsored by Gift of Life Donor Program and Cavanaugh’s River Deck, and is held in memory of Jessica Beth Schwartz, a heart transplant recipient who attended Temple University. Proceeds will benefit the Jessica Beth Schwartz College Scholarship Fund, to support transplant recipients who wish to pursue Jessica’s dream of graduating from college.

Cavanaugh’s River Deck, is located at 417 Columbus Boulevard in Philadelphia. To register online for Jessie’s Day, visit www.donors1.org, or call Nicole Forrest at 800-DONORS-1.
