The men’s basketball team, coming off a 7-0 month of December, dropped its first game at home this season, as the Owls lost, 84-52, to No. 1 Kansas. No. 18 Temple must now rebound in time for the Atlantic Ten Conference opener Wednesday.

Moore breaks out against Bowling Green

Sophomore guard Ramone Moore scored a career high 17 points and, along with senior guard Ryan Brooks’ 19 points, led No. 18 Temple to a 63-39 victory against Bowling Green at McGonigle Hall.

On the exact same day as last year’s upset of No. 8 Tennessee, the men’s basketball team defeated No. 3 Villanova, 75-65. Sophomore guard Juan Fernandez scored a career-high 33 points in the victory.

Owls claw out win against Penn State

Ryan Brooks leads Owls to 45-42 victory over Penn State Saturday afternoon at the Liacouras Center. Temple improves to 6-2 for the first time since 1999-2000.

Struggles against Saint John’s

Victory versus Virginia Tech
