Nearly 8,000 Philadelphia-area high school students were celebrated for choosing to pursue higher education or the military as a part of Obama’s Reach Higher initiative, at the Liacouras Center.

Senior forward Obi Enechionyia led Temple with 19 points in the Owls’ 82-77 win against Tulane on Thursday at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Led by junior guard Melvin Frazier, who won the American Athletic Conference’s Most Improved Player award, Tulane will face Temple in the first round of the conference tournament on Thursday in Orlando, Florida.
