A student was struck in the head by several teenagers off campus on Tuesday night, police said.
A male student was assaulted by the male teens while walking on Oxford Street near 12th, said Charlie Leone, the executive director of Campus Safety Services.
A security bike patrol officer saw the incident occur, but the teens fled after seeing the officer, Leone added. No arrests have been made.
The student was taken to the hospital and is an unknown condition.
