Thanksgiving dinner is going up in flames. Life seems worthless and meaningless. You need serious help. You call an emergency cooking hotline. You cook, you enjoy. You don’t get dumped. Life is worth living after all.

Here is a list of turkey day emergencies.

USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline:

Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed weekends and holidays, except Thanksgiving. Special hours of operation on Thanksgiving are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Reynolds Turkey Tips Line:

Open through Dec. 31, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Butterball Turkey Talk Line:
(800) BUTTERBALL
Available Nov. 8 through Dec. 25, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m; Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m; Thanksgiving Day, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 24 to Dec. 25, weekdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Perdue Chicken:

Available weekdays year-round (except the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day) 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thanksgiving week: Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Nov. 27, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
