Last year, the first Slam Dunk Hunger campaign brought in more than 4,500 pounds of food from Big 5 schools to help feed the needy in the area.

The Greater Philadelphia Food Bank distributes food donations to nearly 800 local non–profit organizations to fight hunger, helping to feed 57,000 people each week through Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
